Frontier 1 Completion Ceremony

FRONTIER 2’S AVAILABLE UNITS SOLD OUT IN 7 WEEKS
Final release of Type C coincides with Frontier 1 completion 8 months early â€" 10th September 2014

Johor Bahru, September 10, 2014 – Developer WB Land Sdn Bhd today reported overwhelming response to its recent launch of Frontier Industrial Park’s Phase 2, or Frontier 2, that resulted in all available units being sold within seven weeks.

Its General Manager Wong Yen Yap said this success was testimony of the high demand for a “gated, guarded and green” industrial development in Johor Bahru.

“All of Frontier 2’s available units of Type A, B, D, E and F had been taken up. We are now releasing the last available type which is Type C semi-detached factories.

The 28 Type C semi-detached factories have a land area of 16,670 square feet (sf) and built-up area of 11,114 sf each. These units are priced at RM3.843 million to RM4.657 million each.

The release of Type C coincides with the completion ceremony for Phase 1 buyers today. When these owners collect their keys next month, they would be getting their factories eight months ahead of schedule, Wong added.

WB Land head of marketing Kevin Woon attributed the good sales from the unique “green home” for the industry’s concept in Frontier Industrial Park. “We have taken the bold decision to offer a two-acre centrally-located park complete with a gym, jogging tracks and pavilions as we wanted to give better value to our buyers who are looking for more than just factories to work in.

“We also provide a dormitory for workers so buyers do not have to worry where to house their workers. Our buyers particularly love this. We have gone into the details to make Frontier 2 such a homely place for industries to thrive,” Woon added.

These traits form the winning edge for WB Land as Frontier won the “Five-star Best-in-Malaysia” award for industrial development at the recent Asia Pacific Property Awards (APPA) 2014.

WB Land started Frontier Industrial Park when it launched its Frontier 1 last year. The 8.7-acre Frontier 1 comprises 10 units of semi-detached factories with built-up areas of 12,278 to 12,592 sq ft.

“Seeing our first project bearing fruits and to deliver ahead of time gives us the confidence to strive harder and do better with our future developments.

“We hope to carry on with the legacy of our sister company Woon Brothers Construction Sdn Bhd which has a 38-year track record of delivering its projects ahead of schedule,” said Woon.

Frontier Industrial Park has a gross development value of RM600 million and is spread across 136 acres of freehold land next to Desa Cemerlang at Ulu Tiram within Iskandar Malaysia. It is being developed over three phases with overall project completion by July 2018. It is only 15 minutes to Johor Port, 25 minutes to Woodlands Checkpoint and 30 minutes to Senai Airport.
